Bought a gearbox of barrie, no probs then an engine, no probs then a leather interior and an exhaust again no problem. Met him in hereford payed him picked up the above mentioned items, but on the last trip he was supposed to bring with him an air mass meter for our gsi, cost £25.00, said he forgot it, so i payed him for it along with the above interior and exhaust. He said at the time he was going away for a break and he would post it to me after he got back, so that would of been tuesday the 18th of april. After a week after this date and since i have tried to phone him and text him, he sent a few text to say he would phone me but never did and have not had the part for the car nor any contact with him since, so i take it i will not recieve the said part nor a refund of this shit head, yes shit head. Its not the money that bothers me but the fact that he comes across has such a nice bloke who earlier when i was getting stuff of him was always at the end of the phone for any questions regarding the fitting of the gearbox, but you have turned out to be a pikey blooded thief, but its alright has what goes around comes around. By the way this c*nt will be at billing reg no m16 web on his astra, do not be taken in by this charmer and do not hand over money unless you have the part he is selling in your hand. Oh by the way i now know that vauxhall newbie is missus has been banned did not know this untill i checked her profile as i was going to P.M. her to find out wat was going on. Thats right bud, cwmbran down in south wales. drives an M3 bmw a 2.5 V6 green cavalier, green pug estate, vauxhall combo van, the mig reg astra in white MK3 i think and also a red corsa with XE transplant. works for a garage i think as he knows is stuff about cars. he wore a vauxhall garage overhall on one of the times he met us in hereford.what pissed me off more than anything about the way he has turned bandit, is the way he came across as such a nice bloke, i even defended him ages ago after i got the gearbox off him when a member on here had not recieved some stuff and put a post up angry and all that. I phoned barrie up and told him the problem he phoned up the lad of here and apparently sorted it out, this was confirmed in a P.M. i recieved of C3 MKY, so i had no reason not to trust him, just shows you cant trust anyone really:shame: but will not let it get me down and if i need stuff for the car will still trust people of here because if we cant trust each other the forums would not work, and that would be sad for everyone.

I setup a forum so that all Vauxhall websites could share information on dodgy traders but most couldnt even be arsed to reply so it just goes to show they don't really care. You could find out who is the mod for the trading areas but don't expect them to do much as the site is so big the mods don't have the time to do anything.

Thanks everyone for there thoughts, like said above its sad that it ends up this way sometimes and that a few people think it clever to rip people off or are to lazy to send stuff to people after they have been paid, then leave it to late and then not bother at all, they then end up with a bad name because after a while most decent peeps on forums flush them out. Good idea on this forum for peeps with bad reputations and if other forums can not be arsed to name and shame such people well its there loss as they will end up with lots of disgruntled users and a hell of a lot of grief. I know what you mean about buying some bits & bobs of the of a guy, and then to turn out to be an asshole in the end.

I bought a redtop engine of a bloke of ebay, went to collect it. I travelled, from lake district to Newcastle, everything went smooth, he gave me extras sparkplugs cambelt kit etc..

He then said I‘ve got some Kentcams for sale, I thought great can I buy them off you next week, and can you post them. He said yes.

I paid for kentcams through paypal, I got kentcams, open box to find the longest camshaft was snapped in half, so I told him about it, his words where – They where in perfect condition, etc etc but he kept in touch for abit making up a load of shit. Wasting time, and I give the benefit of the doubt, and he f**ked me off.

I contacted paypal, they couldn’t do anything because 42 day thing had ran out. So I thought contact kentcam, see if I can get the camshaft replaced, guess what, they aren’t even f**king kentcams. £90, I paid.

I would love to blow his head clean of his shoulders :grrr

Have just got of the phone to the local police in Pontypool, they have informed me that i will have to make a formal complaint at my own local police station (Huyton) who will then get in touch with Pontypool police directly and inform them of my complaint.

The best thing for everyone concerned is to do what the police in Pontypool have said and that is to make a formal complaint against barrie and kate with the amounts of money involved and parts ordered at there own local police station.
