hi all great site
can anyone tell me when to change the timing belt on my vectra 1.8 gls (automatic) and rough idea of cost

around £60 on planet earth but dont know how much it would be on mars

I see from one of your other multiple postings the car has done 63344 miles.

For reference the belt AND tensioners (in other words purchase a belt kit, rather than just a belt) should be changed every 40,000 miles, or 4 years - whicever comes soonest.

Can't quote you labour costs as that will vary depending on whre you go, but for reference a belt kit will cost somewhere ITRO £64 to £90, depending on which one yours is.

I see from one of your other multiple postingsI think there's been the odd technical problem with the site of late where it becomes unresponsive. This is the 2nd time in a day where there's been multiple duplicate posts -- I'm presuming the poster clicks "Submit" a number of times, trying to get a post to 'take' while the site is unresponsive etc.

Yeah dont stinge on your timing belt.
Its far far far cheaper to replace it than to have it go on you.
