Helloooo,

Due to me being daft & cutting off parts I shouldn't be cutting off, I find myself in search of the grey metal housing from a Cavalier (corsa, astra) Ignition barrel.

Here's the puppy I'm looking for:

I don't need the barrel innards, as I'll be transferring my lock insides over. If you have a complete spare ignition barrel kicking around, & it's cheap, no probs. Must have the key though.

Or... If you want to keep a spare ignition barrel 'just in case', and don't specifically need the barrel with the hook on the end, I'd be more than happy to swap the insides over & return the working assembly & key in my 'hookless' barrel.

The barrel must have the hook part though.

Please PM me with a price inc postage, if you can help at all.:Cool2:

Ithankyou.

Been there, done that!

Asked if they had any Cav, Astra etc.. ignitions, to which the guy gave me a big yellow plastic bucket, full of car keys.

I fished through & found a few sets of Vaux keys, & spent the next hour or so trying them in various Vaux locks. NONE were right, so I asked on here:Cool2:

Pity though, I found a 92 Astra which would have had what I'm l;ooking for, except it won't come out without the key:shame:

Garry has one (The Big Yin) posts in Scotland a fair bit.... I know this because he gave me a choice of two for mine, the one I didn't need was the one you need.
