wanted - chequer plate spec sheet stand

slightly wider than A4, (judging by marks anyway) and it sits under the wheel, so it can`t be moved, and probably about a meter high, i`m only guessin

Start with a price per stand for as many as you can get from one sheet, and go from there.

you won`t need postage, if you are going to pvs, you can hand them out there, payments could be made prior so you know you have sold them, then the peeps concerned only have to add the info to it

i can get them made, that aint a problem as i am still very good friends with an ex boss of mine that owns a steel fabrication company, just a case of if it is financially viable as a club (ie enough people want them)

a 3000mmx1500mm sheet of 3mm thick ali durbar(chequer plate)is roughly £100 from this sheet i can make 12 stands which is £8.33 each for material,so how much are ppl willing to pay for me to make them?

not too difficult tbh.

hows about someone taking a cordless drill.
pop rivetting some of them ring binder things onto the top so you have a kinda laminated flip album of various stages of work. (thats what i will be doing to mine)
or alternatively, i will look into getting plastic, and i mean tough plastic, wallets that can be screwed onto the top part that an A4 sheet just slips in.
the kind you may have at work on the top of the machines for work instructions and the like.

merely 2 suggestions (well 3 if you include the cellotape n snot. lol)

oh, and about the tanks, maybe easier to make jsut covers for them then?
and why havent you got them on your gsi?
will get measurements off mine the weekend and pm you them.

i have the checker plate in boat loads, if you get me the sizes i can make them. I have the equipment to do it so it should not be to much trouble. I can also say that it would be quite cheap as i sell checker plate by weight and not size so it will be a lot cheaper. i can also post them if you will cover the purchaser covers the cost. The checker plate is generally pretty good and so will look really good.

Local pick up of stuff welcome too.

The only thing i CANNOT do is weld the damn stuff as i do not have the money to afford a welder at the moment, but hopefully will do soon.
