Its mint basically. Head was apart not long ago following a 'leaning off' incident that damaged an exhaust valve so all 8 exhaust valves have been replaced with GM parts. Inlets were removed and checked ok and all valves were lapped back in. Guides are good, were replaced 40k ago as part of a full engine rebuild (as were the lifters which are included). Not a single tap, even from cold. Included will be standard cams and pulleys (early round tooth type, easily changed tho!), distributor with a less than 1k cap and rotor and a set of bosch super4's. The thermostat and 2 temprature senders are also very recent.

Collect only or arrange your own courier (Swansea)

£100 no offers.

(its alot cleaner than that now btw! hehe)

Note that the cams are currently removed, wont put them back on unless you want me to - left them off so you can inspect the lifters etc.

Thanks for looking :D

It came off an early XE from a cavalier GSI. Afaik all the heads are the same, only difference with the LET is the block and ancilleries (feel free to correct me tho). You can easy change the pulleys for later types too

Its for sale as i scrapped the car due to Rot and the block has a stripped headbolt thread that i cant be bothered to fix really as the car is going. So there is a free F20 and 40k old bottom end there if someone wants to take the car too.

From what I can find the head is the same yes, the only difference is the cams (although alot of people run a XE inlet retarded one tooth to great effect). Headset is suitable also and it was 100% not porous when it was removed carefully. Also got a set of early (male) headbolts here you could have too.

lmk!
