Hi,

I've used the search function , but I couldn't find anything related to my "problem".

What (parts) do I need in order to change my TID (Triple Info Display) into a MID (Multi Info Display)?

I've got a Vectra B 2.0 DTI '98

If I got it right I need to change my Wiper-switch, obviously the display module and need the whole thing reprogrammed by my VX dealer via Tech2, anything more needed?

So far as I know it I also need to change/modify the connector in the back of my dash? 26/32 pin? Is there any info about this one?

Thanks for any help...

I don't know much about this but there is alot more to it than that.

Eg.

Fit bulb fail module with loads of critical wiring if you want bulb fail.
Sensors for

Coolant (in tank cap)
Windscreen Washer bottle float sensor
oil level sensor in sump (diff on DTi) not worth fitting.
Front brake pads sensors (not worth fitting)

...about the Brake Pad Sensors, there is an extra connector in the wheel housing next to the point where the ABS connector is, is this a connector for this Brake Pad Sensor?

Hmm, can't see any exposed wires/colours, just Black "Plug" looks nearly like the connector from the ABS next to it.
I thougt it might be the same thing but for a prevoius model or so, a compatibility issue, but when you mentioned Brake Pad Sensors, I thought this plug migt be for that???

u get piece a wire with plug part for the back connector you see, plus...sensor at other end that clips into pad...one on each side...

it probably is for the pad sensor.

usually you don't wire them though because you can't with the bulb fail function.

Maybe it's just got half the pad sensor wiring (quite likely)
have a look at the coolant cap for brown wires.
