I need a new pair due to the standard ones not being able to hold the tailgate anymore.

LMF vauxhall have the nice chrome ones but they're £27 including postage. Anyone know where I can get a pair for less?

need some off a sri or something as they are stronger as youve got a spoiler...

That's exactly why I need them, the standard ones won't hold the tailgate anymore now that I've put a spoiler and the boot panel on. Even though they weigh next to nothing :rolleyes:

I'd rather get a new pair though, as they do get soggy with time. The chrome ones do look very nice but are a bit pricey at £27

One of my friends had an MDF shelf with 6x9s in and found that even standard brand new SRi ones didnt do the job. In the end i got him a pair for a Sierra XR4i and they nearly took his chin off when he opened the tailgate. Not sure if this is of any help to you or not tho.
