Is the engine in decent condition apart from the head gasket? Theyre not that hard to replace, mines going on my cav
But I may have the engine off you depending on how the MOT goes, itll sit nicely in replacement of my sri 8v

i'm in hernebay in kent. the engine is in ok condition. considering its age was running fine apart from pressurising the coolant. it is missing the ht leads but complete apart from that i have a head set which includes gaskets and bolts still sealed which i wan't £10 for.

Do you get the higher compression putting the SEH head on an NE?

I belive compression is unchanged as the SEH has a different bottom end, however the cam has a higher lift. So I was led to believe.
