i think your onfusing yourself with the splitter and the grill snailcav.

the splitter is a piece of flexible plastic that goes along the bottom of the bumper.

from renault i think they are about £40, so what alot of people do is go to SEAT and get a similar one. think is the toledo or ibiza, or summat, have a look on the website, but they are about £20 iirc and look just as good. i used to have one.

The Ibiza ones are very cheap from the dealers but if your planning on having it low avoid as they are quite deep.

just feedd them some bullsh*t cuz they dont like to sell them to people who dont own a seat, for some reason.

Try getting on for £70 PLUS VAT :eh last time I asked (and that was 5 years ago when I had my Renault 19 and wanted one for that), can't see them having dropped in price.

do they fit easily or do they have to be modified a bit???

they go stright on a gsi bumper.

drill holes into the underside lip of the bumper and use self tappers.

you could even use some kind of adhesive if you want to give it a bit more security.

go to your local renault breakers we did and got one for £10
we then decided not to used it and put it on ebay it went for £75 in the end....

they fit on pretty much any cav bumper iirc, just look cack on anything other than gsi's imo.

class ride has one on his standard cav in the gallery, just pop along and have a look
