I thought you knew me better than that mucker :eh ,if you do decide to get the engine,my suggestion to you would be to take the gearbox, put it in and test/try it,when all's good a couple of beer tokens would suffice me thinks.

Cant say fairer than that eh ?

There may even be a flywheel, clutch and pressure plate here too,but cant confirm yet because i cant remember what i kept.

I know there's an engine loom here for a manual (without an inhibitor loom etc) possibly a few other odds and sods too, will have to have a dig around the garage.

cheers mat, although not 100% tbh i cant do the conversion, just aint got the tools etc. auto is not me,need something for me lefthand to do:lmao:
trying 2 workin out how much it all gona cost, engine probs go for the 2-300 mark, then need new exhaust. and cost to fit it. so i dunno. tempted to just buy engine for now and see how it goes, lol

You will very supprised how little you will need in the way of tools, exhaust wont be a problem if the engine comes with downpipes, probably need a cat as the flange is different i think.

If all goes well it can be in within a day and running the following day.

Have a think about it.
