the correct part number for the bulbs is 90566032 - this is a 1.2W bulb and holder, you need 5 to replace them all. They're pricey at (gulp) £2.44 + VAT - EACH - from Vx, but at least when they next go you can replace just the bulb. The originals I had were of the type where the bulb cannot be replaced. The bulbs and holders do look of a pretty standard type so could probably be sourced elsewhere.
Note the wattage - 1.2W - I was originally supplied (as advised by Vx, quoting from their tech info system) 2W bulbs (part no. 9120630) - and 4 of them.
This would explain why when someone recently changed just one bulb that it was brighter than the others.
Out of 5 bulbs (one for each LCD screen and 2 for backlighting the switches) on mine, 4 were blown ...

bought some spares from a local motor factor (ajay's in Strood, Kent) - 1.2W, non-removable bulbs (as per the original items) - £1.01 + VAT each - a much better price!!

I have just finished doing mine and what a difference. The user guide was invaluable but I would just like to point out a couple of things. Firstly, to remove the old bulbs, I had to turn the hex backing. I figured this out after pulling the first and loosing the bulb inside the unit and it took ages to retreive it!!
Secondly, go to your local motor factor for these bulbs. I went to KAT Automotve in Margate and 6 bulbs (A spare as i'm a bull in a china shop!!) cost just over £4. They were the ones that are a complete unit as I could not remove the bulb itself as it had soldered lugs on it.
A job well worth doing and an excellent guide, thanks.
