I have always had a soft spot for the mk2, it's tempting but can't be bothered with something that needs work at the moment.

Mk2's are becoming quite collectable now, especially Convertibles, Calibre's and SRi 130's. Surprised you don't already know that....

Seems to me like he's using arrogance to get people to bid and to get a higher price. Personally, I very much doubt he'll crush it.

Sure is! I used to have one.Nice cars but still not worth alot of money,especially if no M.O.T. Usually find they need alot of underneath work doing.Only really interested in another cos my great nephew(aged 6) likes a car with no roof ,as he puts it. Steve

Think I might bid on it too, need another car to use so the turbo can be a weekend only car kept in my garage, n what a quality everyday car, especially with a calibre bodykit on it too....
