I'm doing the Stapes2Naples next year. I need a car for £100 (part of the rules).
So I'm looking for 1.7 upwards Cav, omega or carlton with good mechanicals, bodywork I'm not that bothered about. Preferably tax and test. Lot to ask, but I though I better see if anyone had anything before I buy a Volvo!

See if you can find a Senator. Bodywork will be cr*p but 12v 3.0 engine is bombproof! :)

Might have to check out this S2N run....
Basically its either something like this or the 'ring with Cavweb next year and as this is for charity it is appealing!!!

Thanks Colin, but just like the other car offers - I'm talking to the lads this weekend, so I'll get back to you, but really I'm looing for something with abit more oomph - say a 1.8/2.0 really.

Really? 100 notes? Why didn't I know about this sooner?
My Omega only cost me £75.00 and it isn't to bad! There are plenty of cheap motors out there.

i missed a 380se merc for £102 the other day... :Shame: only needed a fuel line aswell!!
lowrider dave
11-11-2005, 10:10 AM
Damn! The V6 cav we had our eye on needs a new clutch and fuel line - so I think we may let that one go, especially as we'd have to drag it 60 miles to get things done! So, still on the lookout!

Cheers bud! One of our plans was to paint ours like a UN vehicle...but that means it's mainly white (dull) so I really want black with lots of flames now (I can paint flames well!)...then again...the options are limitless!!

i got a 1.8 cav needs tax/mot and to new rear windows but it runs free on the condition i get me shocks and springs off it,
forgot to mention its has no documents either just realised lol spose u can tow it across on teh ferry
lowrider dave
12-11-2005, 02:26 PM
Cheers, but we're looking for something that has documents and doesn't need too much work in terms of buying stuff for it! Hard work is fine, but for shelling out for tax, mot, new springs, windows would make it rather expensive! Thanks for the offer anyway mate.
