IIRC something like 1,200 were produced.... originally as normal hard-topped right hand drive versions of the 2 door Opel Ascona

I dont live far from this car, and yes it is in a state but you always see the guy working under the bonet so he must be doing something under there. Now if this car is D267 NBA which I think it is, my dad owned it for a year or so (If Im getting the reg plate right which I think I am) and there was something wrong with the suspension because it was a sack of spuds round corners, my dad nearly killed himself going round a roundabout at 40 in it (assuming it IS the one)

Car isnt actually burnt although I admit it looks like it, just got lots of filler on it, coat of paint and it will look riite I think, although mechanically not too sure if its my dads old motor.

Matt.

i had a yellow one with a full calibra bodykit, 17" 16v redtop and 162bhp@fly, lowered n avo's pretty good condtion but sold it about 3 years ago.
they are rare and still a good classic but a bit basic now and parts like rear 1/4 are hard to find, a minter than mint factory condtion one with 29000miles sold for £4500 but they are more like rusty, 100k+ miles etc et cand fetch about £1000-£2000 if they are useable and look nice.
a dog can be got for £500 with short mot if any and a real wreak of a crap heap would be about £250 as its worth it for parts.
i sold mine for £1750 with nothing other than the arches needing doing (again)
i miss it but have moved on a bit now:cry:
