Well everyone, sadly the full time musician thing forces me to sell my beloved
Calibra which I have owned since June, because its impractical and I can't fit
all me stuff in it! Decided i'm going for a Vectra, will hopefully get one this
weekend, then my Calibra can go)
Here's the spec:
1992 K reg Calibra - 16v C20XE 'Redtop' engine (140k miles, drives, feels and sounds like 80k)
Spectral Blue - benefitting from an almost complete recent respray... excellent matches and the bonnet is de-badged!
Electric windows
Electric sunroof
Electric heated mirrors
Electric heated front seats
Front headlamp washers
Full leather interior (in very good condition! Driver's seat bolster in excellent condition for age, an excellent example)
Irmscher / Vauxhall Softstar alloy wheels in good very good condition (one has blistered and started to peel though)
Excellent / almost mint rear arches (see pics)
Alarm / Immobiliser
Long MOT and TAXED
Since I bought it the car has benefited from a full service and cambelt change from V-Tuning (£395), the Vauxhall specialist,
with new pads all round and front discs front driver's side wishbone, full
brakes service, bonnet respray / bebadged, and there complete near side of
the car has been oversprayed and the wing mirrors on both sides... also had
rust spot on lower driver's door sorted and a few laquer blisters it had (£400)
I put a new fuel hose in it last week (£10)
so thats all the common Calibra problems taken car of, thank to clubcalibra.net and cavweb.co.uk !
With all the love and work that's gone into the car, and all the other callys I
looked at when looking for this one, it is an excellent example of a 1992
Calibra and with the upgraded Softstar alloys, it is the perfect 'stock
standard' cally, which means if you want to modify it, now is the best time to
start.
I'm looking for £1250 ono
