WTF is going on with the AVATAR's

Why are so many people getting rid of thier AVATAR's?

It may have something to do with the new VB img auto-resizing feature.? Maybe the only visible avatars that you can see are the ones added befoe the upgrade, and that havent used this feature of the site?

there is a tick box in the options section of your profile that stops avatars displaying

under "Thread Display Options"

could be that yours has become unticked?

Well reading this thread made me think i had enough posts for an avatar, so i went to look and it wont let me have one... yet there are people in the members list who have less posts than me and have avatars... doesn't really bother me if i have one or not but it confused me a little
