Quick Idea. I pay money to be in www.mk2cav.com, it's not a direct competitor of VX-On (I prefer Cav Web but life's too short) so why not offer affilated membership, when you get up and running. I'm sure you could offer it both ways, and Andy (andy@mk2cav.com) would offer a reverse deal.

Er, Cavweb is evolving into Vx-on which is trying to be a real club with deals like insurance etc. Maybe a subcription to join, like Mig web? Seems to compete head on with Migweb really.
Now there are more than a few fee paying Vauxhall Clubs, which effectively compete with the new VX-on but mk2cav.com is more of a specialist one make club. Some pay to be members and this helps pay for insurance at shows and club displays and run the website.
Given that it's not a direct competitor why not both clubs have affiliated membership. You are in one, so you are in both ?

OK....
VxON has encorperated Cavweb, this is now it... the Vauxhall Owners Network.
This is not a competition, this is an alternative. Several clubs are available to Vauxhall drivers/owners etc... and this is an extra choice.
The cards are well and truly on the table, we have laid down what we plan to do, and how we plan to do it.
Can't really do that, the funds are budgeted for, say for example we took the payment for you, then Mk2cav might not have enough funds for next years events etc... so effectivly by going to a show with mk2 you'd be getting the PLI free etc...
