I know you have a picture of the interior showing part of the gear lever gaiter, but can you let me know what the condition of it & the handbrake gaiter is? I think I can see a bit of wear on the top of the gear lever gaiter, but it could be the light playing tricks, so thought I'd best ask?

I'll take both front struts inc. the hubs (don't need discs(do need the bit the discs bolt to though) or calipers). Am I right in thinking that these will bolt straight on to my 93 1.7TD LS (sorry for such a newbie question).
I assume that the bearing are OK? (as it is shot bearings and a knackered hub I need to replace!)
Edited to add line about bearings

Just checked EPC and part no's are the same but the spring and shock no's are different. Postage wouldn't be cheap due to size and weight.
What sort of price you willing to pay inc postage

I bought the car with a blown headgasket as a quick fix and sell on. I changed the gasket but it still went through water and steam from exhaust. Might be a easy repair but I don't have the time and need the space back in my garage as my wifes car failed its MOT and mine is due soon. If you want the engine you can come and take it away for free. The mileage is only 82,000

The engine is still in the car, but I can give you a hand to remove it. Do you need all the ancillaries and loom???
PM me with details of what you require
aggie
16-12-2005, 01:14 PM
Hi cornishtaz,
I notice that the bit of cable that connects the cam sensor to the loom has at somepoint been rewired/soldered on, which from what my mechanic friend has told me about replacing the cam sensor, is that the replacements from vauxhall have a replacement bit of cable.
Therefore, If this bit of cable is still available after jmc has had the engine then I would be interested in this. Let me know how much you want for it inc postage.
Cheers
