Try the Simtec Fault codes:
http://www.cavweb-forums.co.uk/showthread.php?t=38616

0110 is the Intake Changeover Valve.
It's on the lower part of the inlet manifold on the near side, and changes over for low rpm higher torque operation.

Could be it's come unplugged.

0340 is Camshaft sensor.
There's a How To on my sig/ general for replacing it.

Thanks for the info Mark but your how to links are dead....if ou click on the fault description you get a "page could not be found".

Cheers,
Sean

Me again,

Sory mate the 0110 ins't that the Intake Air Temperature sensor....? fi not where is the changeover value, and will cleaning it help?

As for the camshaft sensor, on mine it looks like i need to drop the near side engine mouting just to get the timing belt cover off, is this right?

Cheers!
Sean

Here's the How To.

May have been busy, I've got a 10 connection limit.

You've got to read the Fault Codes for your engine, as they are different for different ECUs.

Hi Mark & all,

This is really driving me mad! :eh

I ran the engine and the ECU light came on,
Turned everything off disconnected the Cam Sensor and cleaned the connectors.
Ran the engine for a few minutes NO ECU light.......
Thought that may have been a fluke so turned it off waited a while...started again with NO ECU light.
Took her for a spin...Mmmmmmm 5500 rpm what a difference.
Got home turned her off, started her back up again and the F'in light came on again!
Did the paperclip test and I got the same error codes.

Help, what am I doing wrong? :turd

hi,
i have had this code not so long ago when the rac man came out...
P1530 A/C Relay Voltage High C-41
P1530 A/C Relay Voltage Low C-41
what does this mean and should i be doing anything about it considering i havnt had this problem again since ecu was reset! ????
