Those shark fins are ariels i beleive?

Is the fin not for the telephone that's built in?

Yeah, some are radio aerial, phone and GPS for their sat nav. Very neat for 3 antennas in one lump of plastic ;)

Doesn't it bother any of you guys that Jeremy Clarkson clearly hates Vauxhalls?

The shows are nice, (we get BBC World here too), but it has always been the bad side, that Jeremy Clarkson always puts Vauxhall down. The VX220 Turbo has been the only Vauxhall he has liked so far... Even in the special episode of those people carrier cars, he couldn't admit that the Zafira was the best at that time, just because it was a Vauxhall, that was the only reason... and that why he selected the stupid Fiat Multipla... And on the dvd Clarksons's top 100 cars, he doesn't have ANY Vauxhall on the list. Not even the Lotus Carlton! And in the end where he has the "5 worst cars ever", there is a Astra mk2 and a Cavalier mk2 there... with the Morris Marina... That just was so wrong... :(

But still I have to check when they are going to air it on BBC World channel.

L20KEV
27-10-2003, 02:17 PM
from memory i think he slates them coz he had a falling out with vauxhall.

but then again he hates most cars.(i find it very funny tho:lmao: )

but because hes now that rich and only drives 100k cars he's got that stuck up that anything that hasn't got 300bhp or more he doesn't like (and thats the same with most tv car presenters.) when they are testing a car its " this car is ok but with its little 170bhp engine it is a bit lagging" etc. -coz they've tested all these super sports cars that the general public could never afford anyway.

Dest
27-10-2003, 03:01 PM
he certainly has a thing against the vectra :lmao: but remember he also doesnt like other cars which are also wicked!

Andy K

Very neat for 3 antennas in one lump of plastic ;)Ian.

:think My dad's rover has SAT NAV & TV & Radio with no visable ariels. (some are in the rear screen)

My Jag's got SAT NAV & Phone & Radio and it only got the normal electric radio ariel

I was amused that JC didn't like the reliability of his Merc and was slating it. (he's not alone)

Well, if you've got one, in a minute, have a look at your knob.

If you really think about it, it looks dead funny! :lmao:

Think of it, on it's own, sitting on the coffee table.

:lmao: Too funny!!

Clarkson's a knob.

I rate Top Gear. Clarkson may not like Vx's, but then so do a lot of people. At least he's funny with it.

But IIRC he did something a while ago where he rated the Vx Vectra as one of the best cars in the country. He did say that it pained him to say so.
