Hi,

My first post in the for sale section, so hope I've not breached any rules.

Anyway, please see at the end of this post a link to my eBay auction for a set of used front brake calipers, 302mm disks and new pads for use in a Vec-C or Signum. Here's some text from the eBay ad:

For Sale: Complete kit for upgrading the front brakes on your Vectra-C (2002-2008) or Signum from the 285mm diameter disks to these 302mm disks. The 285mm disks/calipers come on the lesser-powered models, whereas these 302mm ones come on the 175 BHP petrol turbo models, and also the 2002-2003 3.2 V6 GSi. These will give much better braking ability than your existing smaller brakes.
The kit consists of the bigger calipers (x2), the 302mm disks (x2), the caliper carriers (x2), the caliper slide pins (x4)
PLUS BRAND NEW, GENUINE VAUXHALL/GM BRAKE PADS COMPLETE WITH THE RETAINING SPRINGS.
The calipers are from my Signum, and have done 56,000 gentle miles (seriously... no abuse/boy racer driving). They're in very good condition.
The disks have done 6,000 miles and are also in very good condition and have loads of life expectancy left.
The pads are BRAND NEW and never used, they're genuine GM, and sell for circa £70.00 at Vauxhall dealers.
These parts will bolt straight on to your Vec-C or Signum, and will fit under 16" Vauxhall wheels.
Collection by buyer from Stevenage Herts (post code SG1), as I wouldn't have a clue about couriering something as heavy as these, or you can arrange your own once payment is made.

Pictures can be seen on eBay. Reserve for this whole set is £30

Bump... (it'd dropped off the first page); plus I've had a question from someone with a Vec-B asking if these brakes will fit his car, I've replied that they probably don't and if they do it'll probably take a fair bit of work to get them to fit, even if he has the 5-stud hub...but I'm guessing. Does anyone know for sure whether Vec-C calipers/disks will fit 5-stud Vec-B's? Ta.

Why have you taken them off the Signum??

I was offered a set of the even bigger calipers/disks off of the 2.8 V6 Turbo models, so bought those and fitted them.

They'd put you through the winscreen...lol. They're bigger than the ones on my old Omega V6.
