C25XE?? Is that a cav engine?? Generally the wiring loom goes with the engine when sold but I have a part stripped 3.0 X30XE engine so most likely have the wiring loom spare for that here...you could probably use the 3.0 ECU but would certainly need some tech2 reprogramming to work properly with the car....

Would the switches fit a Vectra B (97)
How much for 4 switches being, Demist, Aircon, Air Recirculate, Traction Control, with postage to Australia?

And are they modded or factory? and are all the globes ok?

Oh, I also need Passenger side Sun Visor clip (beige, with metal clip) too if available

Think the Vectra switches are the same as the Omega ones...if you have a picture of yours it would help make sure...not modded the ones I have...I do have the sun visor with clip and I have a centre brake thing but on the Omega it runs across the top of the rear screen...not sure if it would fit into a Vectra or not...

Hey, I ended up sourcing some switches from ebay and now just waiting for it to arrive in the post.

Still need a Visor clip but will wait until I can grab one with a proper 3rd brake light.

hello mate, interested in the R28 Manual Gearbox, i'm building a kit car and would like to use a vauxhall engine and box rather than ford bits. so question is will the r28 bolt to a fwd engine probably a v6? if so how much? thanks.

Hi Ash, When I had my cav it had an F28 box converted to RWD with a widget attached to an Omega v6 engine really dont know if you can do the same thing the other way round with an R28...

Price wise, want it out the way so £50 :)

Is the oil cooler a kit (ie banjo washers etc), is it the stainless steel type and does it include postage or are you still going to Weybridge occassionally??

Ive got to diagnose it first and can then let you know for definate

Basically the oil cooler has been fitted to the 3.0 v6 Omega I picked up...the engine was misfiring so he has replaced...the plugs, the leads, the cambelt/tensioners, the waterpump and the oil cooler with new ones and still couldnt get it to run properly as its the dispack at fault which is about the only thing he hadnt replaced...it looks stainless,not taken it out yet but engines half stripped anyway so can do that and let you know conditon of all the other bits...its not a heavy item so could certainly include postage...

I'm down that way from time to time but probably not for a couple of weeks at least so probably best to post! lol

oh rite. Ive stripped it down today and the oil cooler was surrounded by the gunky stuff and i need to get a rad from somewhere as that has split right down one side. Ill give you a shout shorty if i need it as i realy want to spend as little as poss as im selling it on. I only wanted the stainless exhaust from it :lmao:

Vectra radiator the same or different to Omega?? I have 2 radiators here...and the new oil cooler...could always sortout a deal if you came up if you can fit some cam cover gaskets to a 3.0 for me lol

TBH I would rather just sell the seats to you but happy to split the set as already sold one of the front seat headrests anyway...I think the bench just about fits into the size range acceptable by parcel force so postage would be £15...£40 for the back bench??

From a 98 elite...all estate back seats are the the same fit and look regardless of year...think the wiring for the elite heated rear bench should be there as you have a facelift so should plug straight in...

Well I have a 3.0 engine here with heads stripped off but it had suffered a HG failure so is most likely sortable but an unknown quantity...but obviously cheap as a result...

Can get a working 3.0 engine for you no problem though within a week or so...

How about the cruise control cable from the motor to the throttle. Mine has snapped the black plastic bit that goes over the throttle stub.
