Power Steering Not Working

The power steering in my Astra GTE convertible is not working.

At least thats what I reckon.

When doing tight turning it feels like I am pulling against the power steering:sheeeet:

Would be easier without PAS.

During normal driving I don't notice any problems.

I will check the power steering fluid tonight.

Any other thoughts.

Hi had no power stearing on my cav it was the rack what I would do is check the power steering fluid like you say but all so check the belt tenson if this doesn't help then if the fluid is low then top it up then start the car then turn the wheels on full lock one way and check the rack then the other way and look at the rack and power stearing pipe's for leaks.

also it could be the pump?

also check front tyre pressures

Without PAS it will be VERY VERY heavy

All fixed now. All that was required was a new belt. The old one had been tensioned up so many times there wasn't any space to do it again. Drives nice and smooth now.
