Thinking bout my next car which hopefully get in next few months. Cus I'll be only 18 with hopefully 1 yrs NCB, got to be realistic in what i get insurance costs wise! Currently been looking at Mk3 Astra GLS's on spec etc and I like the equipment they come with. Also wouldn't mind looking at a Cav 1.8 Cesaro/Motorsport as these sound quite interesting and insurance seems a little chaeper than 1.6 MK3 also my dads got a 1.7TD Cav and i think he'd quite like to have another cav in the family!

I know Cav is 10 BHP down on Astra, but would the cav have any better aspects to astra. I'm not after outright pace, so long as its a bit faster than my current beast of a Mk2 astra, 1.4 Carb! I'm more after standard spec, driving enjoyment and styling wise of either car.

Any help or sites on ceasros would be great too.

cheers,
mark

Oh and this is my first post on cavweb, hopefully there will be a few more to come! :D

drove a friends 1.8 cesaro the other night.
iwas expecting a wallowy old bus of a car with no go at all(i drive a modded v6 normally),but to be honest,it really wasn't that bad.
i'd go with the cav,but thats just me:up:

Bin reading a few threads on here about them and people have said that the spec aint that diferent to an LS. If it's a cesaro model then would it have stiffer springs or something as standard to 'enhance' the sporty charachter!!! :D

Anyone got a picture of a cesaro interior pls?

no,the springs are standard,as are the shocks, and the single point 1.8.
the only difference is the interior, spoiler, alloys and graphics.
theres a pic of a cesaro interior for sale somewhere on here, the guys name is gray,i think the thread was "cesaro interior",try running a search for cesaro.

I have a Cav Cesaro for sale.

150k, otherwise fantastic.

Engine seems like it will go forever.

Would bung in brand new front discs, since I have not got round to replacing them.

I am looking for £750.

Not sure of dates for T&T but off the top of my head.

MOT May-04
Tax Nov-03
