Does anyone know whether this works?

The only way would be to cut the wire to the dash which if memory serves me right is a blue with a red stripe this must be done at the dash as the pulse wire from the gearbox feeds the engine management ecu

ps pig getting dash out and must be done with no keys in ign or airbag will show a fault
