Will there be a calendar of such listing the events for 2008.
We quite like the idea of camping with a crowd from here, and i need to hand in my holiday request dates early next year, so it would be ideal if possible to get some dates up which you guys camp out.

Doubt they'd clash tbh.

Hopefully I'll be on the Autojumble this year at VB. Si doesn't know it yet, but he'll be helping me...

Depending on regs... well, depends don't it :)

If all is well, I'll just load up the van and have a few plots, something simmilar at Billing.

If I pitch at Billing I'll just tow the Cav on so atleast I still have something on the stand.

By advertising I mean a small sign... and some flyers, maybe... seeings as you'll be their local shop for local people...

But of course, all depends, give Ian Coomber a ring.

Another Date for the Diary if this interests you... (think this is already posted in the members area).

VBOA Spring Parts Day & Autojumble
Date: Sunday 09 March 2008
Location: The Connexion Exhibition Centre, Leamington Road, Ryton on Dunsmore, Coventry, CV8 3FL
Description: Following the outstanding success of the 2007 event, for 2008 we will be taking over both halls of the Connexion complex plus all of the outside parking area. This will give us plenty of room for this indoor event and ample parking to allow member's cars to be properly displayed
Once again we will be encouraging club members to take a pitch and sell those bits and pieces cluttering up the garage, plus a full autojumble attendance from our regular trade supporters
This is now a "must visit" event with a great social atmosphere as well as the best place to get those parts and other goodies ready for the summer season
Autojumble pitches (14ft x6ft approx) £15. Contact Ian Coomber on 07812 525164 for a pitch application
Members of a VBOA affiliated club can take a "pasting table" size pitch (7ft x 6ft approx) for just £5! See downloadable form below for club member pitch application
Autojumble set-up is from 7.00am
Doors open to the public at 10.00am
Public admission is £3.00 at the door, children under 10 free
Hot and cold refreshments from early
The popular Novatech rolling road dynamometer will again be in attendance. Contact Bernie Bowden on 01753 696216 for further information
Directions: Travelling towards Coventry on the A45, turn left at the (new) roundabout just before the (old) Peugeot/Talbot/Rootes plant at Ryton, onto Leamington Road (A445). Straight over the next roundabout and the venue is half a mile up the road on the left. VBOA banners will be at the gate. If you get to the roundabout junction with the A423 you have gone too far!

will the club still be doing the castle combe days after the events at the last one? Seem to recall someone saying we wouldn't bother with it again?

Trish and myself are out of the country for VBOA, so sadly can't make it this year. :(

Trax 2008 - Sunday 7th September

not saying it had to be a decision about whether VxON went to one or the other. Just saying that, even if VxON don't attend Castle Combe as a club, we'll probably still go as it's more entertaining than wandering around a load of ridiculous looking plastic covered french and japanese crap.

How is a track based event more entertaining than one with MORE track based activities on a miles better track, as well as a mahoosive display area?

I'm not saying that Trax isn't a decent show.... if you like that sort of thing. But I've found Castle Combe more interesting on the occasions i've been there.

ATEOTD, I voiced my opinion, which was that i'd be more likely to attend Castle Combe Eurofest than i would Trax. I didn't expect to get jumped on and be told that i'm wrong and your opinion that Trax is the best thing since sliced bread is what i should believe.
