I do mean to do this as not answering pm's is 'just not cricket'.

Let me give you a concise and accurate breakdown here. I have kept all pm's relating to this as a matter of course and thoroughness more than oddness and paranoia.

Please also bear in mind I had been moving house week before this time too!

9/11/07 Pm's exchanged between myself and BC with reference to some car mats in his 'For Sale' thread.

15/11/07 Pm received from BC chasing for payment on the mats.

16/11/07 Pm sent back to BC saying that I had forgotten and that payment will be sent asap

16/11/07 BC responds with an acknowledgement

23/11/07 Pm sent to BC asking if payment has been received

23/11/07 BC responds saying payment (cheque) has been received and is currently with the bank for clearing

23/11/07 I agree with BC that banks are generally a ball ache to deal with...

28/11/07 Payment has cleared

09/12/07 Pm sent to BC to ask if mats have been sent... No response, yet he's been online

16/12/07 Pm sent to BC asking if there had been any more news on this, any news is better than none... No response, yet he's been online

So Chap. Where are my car mats? Or my money? I'm not fussed. I am a very lenient fellow and all you need to do is explain your predicament and I will allow grace. Hell, there is another Member on here who I have allowed weeks upon weeks to sort himself out because he kept me informed (I sympathize with his situation)

Payment made 9 November, I've kept in easy contact since, always had the replies 'sorry, moving house' but the goods (V6 Clocks) stated from day one as being wrapped and ready to go just waiting on cleared funds and address.

He stalled once stating he was waiting for the cheque to clear - despite me paying him by direct credit to his bank ... and then the usual 'sorry, what's your address' every time ...

First of all I would like to apologise.

My last month has been very very difficult for me and my family, as I lost my job (live in position) together with my flat without any notice, and as it was one and only income form me and missus.. Now budget is really tight, basically Im still being messed by previous employer (The Chequers in Kent). Currently I managed to start sorting things out, but it is still difficult, especially when you havent got money / patience to deal with your life.
All packets are packed and ready to go. I receive all payments OK.
It is only my fault, and I really would like to sort these things out.

As said, one and only problem now is that I cannot afford postage :(

I dont want you to understand, especially because basically I own you money / bits you may even dont need anymore. But as soon, as will manage to sort out things I will not be able to post them.

Paul, after I scrapped my V6 cav i asked scrap guy to remove dash bits for me. He said I can pick them up few days later, but then he said they are broken. So i tried to source other ones, but no luck. I can refund only £10 as I cannot source any heather panel for you.

Mats and clocks are ready to go. On a picture there is one more packet with induction pipe for other non-vxon member I need to post.

Dave, regarding cavlad. Long time ago I asked him, can he pick small packet up for me locally and post it. He done it and I promised, that as 'thank you' will give him my old Peco backbox. Never managed, as postage was bl**y expensive, and my plans to visit him been canceled as other member said he will not be able to buy seats of me (I was able to deliver them together with backbox) from Kent to Plymouth.

I will keep everyone updated.

I feel really stupid, but in fact.. What ive done is stupid. :down:

I bought a Cav heater panel from Paul, sent him a cheque on the 7th November, which he got and told me the panel was all packaged up and ready to go as soon as the cheque cleared.

Then he told me the panel had been damaged when he removed it...even though some time earlier he had told me that it was packaged up.

Yeah fair enough he was moving house, but didnt explain this to his buyers.

Then i got an email appologising and asking how we could sort it out, i just said send me the money i paid back and that would be it.

He told me he he would get me a postal order so id get the money quicker, this was at the start of LAST week, and still i have no money.

I have PM'ed him and he is ignorning my PM's.

I wasnt going to do a dispute at the moment, but having seen the other two, i have done.

I want this sorting!

my suggestion is that he borrows £20 from someone in his family to simpoy get this stuff posted - it's small potatoes with what it sounds like he's dealing with at the moment, and being able to 'clear' us guys from his conscience will do him no end of good.

Speaking metaphorically yes...someone such as a local admin or regional organiser, as a representative from the club.

But its not just me and my tenner is it, other people are owed money/parts.

We as a site can't really do anything further (there are no insurance policies for this kind of thing (that I know of) - the next step would be the Police I guess as technically it is classed as theft, or as you say pay him a visit.

Under the Data Protection Act unfortunately we would not be able to reveal the address of whoever the bad seller was, that is if it was stored by us. But if anyone else has the persons address then I that can be notified for future reference.

Wish there was more we could do but sadly I dont think there is. IF you paid by Paypal raise a dispute if it is still within the alloted timescales.

It would be nice if we could put in some practises to prevent tbad sales but they are just not viable to do without paying someone (i.e. checking address' etc before people are allowed to sell). As a site we can only give advice before entering into a sale with someone (i.e. get their address and maybe a phone number too).
