on the 7th of October I paid Glenis £258 for 2 Nintendo wii consoles he said he had, 36day later ive still received NOTHING :grrr
i paid him by paypal, paypal have tried making contact with him to recover the money, but he has continued to blank them also.
i have requested that they now continue with any legal action within there power, but i would also like to file a complaint myself with the police, so if anyone knows his address could they PM me so i can pass it onto the police

I had a case like this when I was dealing with bad sellers from MIG. I advised the person who was ripped off to contact the Police and the Police got in touch with me with a signed data release form.

I had no problems giving them the bad sellers details, IP addresses, copies of posts and the personal information stored on the forum under those circumstances with the correct paperwork.

I can provide you with an IP Address but I don't hold any details for his Address. He is however he is a Club member so maybe Dave or Marc might be able to dig something up as I don't have anything to do with the running of the club. its currently in the hands of the police, ive given them his address in Lancashire so they are making a few enquires and are going to issue a warrant for his arrest soon, they are keeping me informed, so I will let you all know what the out come is.

im sorry to tell you this, but dont hold out much hope for getting you money back thro paypal, unless he leave some money in his paypal account (which he's never gunna do) paypal cant recover any money from him, they told me all they can do is there best effort to recover any money, thats why ive had to go down the route of going thro the police, but even they said they will arrest him, but dont hold my breath regards getting any money back, all they can do is put a claim in to the criminal compansations board and hopefully get paid out thro them :grrr

i would say you need to go to your local cop shop, and file a theft claim against him, take copies of every p.m. email, proof u paid, by taking copies of the transaction thro paypal, and let them take over, if you want i can send you the address of my local cop shop, and the name of the officer in charge of the case, incase your coppers want to contact mine.

his local police have now got on board and will be arresting him shortly, he has been in prison before for this kinda stuff, even ripping his own grandmother off, so it looks like he will be going back there very soon.......

well guys its been a long time coming, but ive just been contacted by somerset police force, who inform me that glenis was arrested last night, he has held his hands up to the offence relateing to me, so it looks like he will be going back to the big house :shake :shake

ive reminded somerset of all the other offences he is linked to, they have told me once more that anyone who has been a victim of glenis needs to go into there local police station and report it, AGAIN if they already have and nothings been done, now he has been picked up, they can interveiw him regards any other offence, just inform them that haven and somerset police are dealing with him, and he has already been arrest for a similar offence

Update on the glenis sager .
as you all know he has been arrested, and I’ve just been told that he has admitted to internet fraud.
He has held his hands up to my case, and also other, what others I don’t know, as they obviously wouldn’t tell me, but they have told me that I WILL be getting my money back :D
So I only hope all you other victims of glenis have been successful to

if you contact your local police and explain all the details, tell them he is being held by haven and somerset police, then you will be able to claim your money back that way, im unsure how im getting mine back, if he has agreed to pay it back or im getting it through the criminal compansation board?

Well I don't think he's been back to his old tricks here but there again I don't have an IP Address to check or any other details. We do have a forum where mods and admins off other Vauxhall based sites can share information on rippers and suspicious traders but this hasn't been reported yet.
