To everyone that made the effort, it made what is my least favourite show enjoyable!

Enjoyed the track action we watched (specially the astra that came flying off into the dirt on the pace lap! :lmao:) some of the 0-60's were funny too!

Didn't take many photo's tbh, only good one I really got of the day was of Si's car on the way home! lol

Special thanks to Marc, Mark and Simon (Gaywalker) for a cracking Friday night! :D

Cheers to everyone that came to the show, really enjoyed it this year :)

Thanks to all involved in organising it from VxON's point of view too - we had a better stand than last year, which was nice. Still a difficult shape to work with, but a good bit more space :Cool2:

I have around 140 pics to sort through, so don't expect MY pics thread tonight :lmao:

one of the reasons we didn't go was because we were told we couldn't park at the back of the stand, and there was no way we were gonna leave the Prelude in the carpark. :mmmm

It wasn't a planned thing. As Alex was the only one and we had enough space he went on the end out of the way rather than try and find the public car park - but he was more than willing to find the public car park if asked to and understood the reasons for it. As we couldnt guarantee space before hand we couldnt offer space to those in your situation.

Hope that clears things up.

Hope that clears things up.It actually looked more like it was part of the stand next to ours too, rather than being part of VxON imho.

I think this was fair enough given the situation etc. But I am sure most of us agree (Alex included, as Marc has already pointed out) that we can't start having non-Vauxhalls all over a Vauxhall Owners Network show stand - it would start to get a bit silly.

Maybe all the NON Vaux owners could organise a stand next to ours next year. That way we could have VxON AND VxNON...... :D

We need a sticky somewhere for those who aren't driving a Vauxhall at the moment perhaps?

To get an idea of numbers to see if it's worthwhile?

Yup, I totally had a few spots eyed out had lots of people turned up, I purposely parked up at the back near that exit so if need be I could have gone off elsewhere, I *think* I would have tried fro behind the burger vans first, then off to the public car park.

How would we be guaranteed space next to VxON if we booked it do you reckon?

Cool cool, i reckon a VxNon stand would be good for those of us with other cars that we'd like to show, I certainly like showing the BMW off, and I bet dangli wants everyone to see his golf etc, and GMad the TransAm kinda thing..

Isn't this the idea Matt had a few weeks ago?

Had a few more thoughts about the VxNON stand and to be honest I think you'll need to organise it seperately to VxON.

Also I think you wouldn't get the stand next to the official VxON stand because at Trax they tend to group all the makes together etc, so all the Vauxhalls are in one area, Fords in another etc etc and they have a different area for multi-marque stands.

But if you get one organised for next year, I'll pop along and say hello :) :Cool2:
