My Vectra GSi has the following problems:
* Knocking noise caused by suspension cups catching on shock tops inside springs. Requires stripping each side to find out what's causing this.
* High Reving caused by faulty TPS. Throttle body requires cleaning and position sensor needs resetting.
* Rattling sound from front of car - possibly manifold, heatshield, cat or exhaust.
* Brake fluid condition is poor.
* Water leak in boot (the least of my worries)
I'm looking for someone who knows what they're doing and can diagnose and fix these problems without costing me a fortune. I've had one recommendation which I'm going to phone tomorrow. Ideally I'd like to get it sorted locally - I'm just off M25 Junction 30 (Dartford Crossing). If you can help, please let me know ASAP.
