For me, the trip started on the 2nd of june at approx 19:20, thats when me & my dad got in my car, my dad playing with his Tomtom Go! and me just itching to get there! after many raised pub voices in the car disputing how to drive. We finally got the the premier travel inn at 22:20. Our Inn was approx 20mins from santa pod!
And due to our good fortune, there was a beef eater right next to us. ie. the pub was open until 12 so many a drink was drunk on sat night between me & my dad!
Woke up at 6 in the morning then we made our was to the pod and got there for 6:45 and was very well organised in all fairness by the marshals and also by the peeps at VXON who sorted us all out on our pitch!
I enjoyed everything the event had to offer, in a few weeks time i'll even be smiling about the fact that im ridiculously sun burnt at this time due me being a div and not thinking to put sun block on what so ever! lol
Thought i think there is one thing i do regret on this brill day out, and that was trying to pluck up confidence to introduce myself to all of you there that day, so in a way this is an open apology from myself also as i feel a lil upset bout not doing so but im just a shy person.
But i hope at the next events soon to come for VXON that i will be more confident and meet you all!
Heres a few pictures i took through out the day, a lot of them came out not very good ie. sun glare! D'oh!
Hope theres a few of interest!
Got some good ones of red victer2

That was yours was it! ooooo my god im soooo jeolous! That was lush fair-play!
I wanted to get the new VxR when it came out but decided not to due to insurance reasons..............
I think if it's not the Vxr the only kit thats out for the D at the mo is the VxR body-kit, prob have to wait a while for aftermarket stuff which is a shame!
When they come i'll whack a photo of my car with them!
I struggled getting my car on the pitch tho

suprised yours is as much as mine but only tptf, what age was you when you took the cover up??and any ncd??

I took it our this year in march woth no NCB, only 1yr driving :shake
XxDayWalkerxX

ah i c, yeh i took it when i was 20 with 1yrs driving experience and 1yrs ncb
you should check out fully comp. It sounds stupid but mine is cheaper FC than TPFT...
Also i'd consider removing your breakdown cover unless it's with the RAC or AA
I had breakdown cover with Elephant and my timing belt snapped, happened as i started the engine and damage was minimal. Phoned up for a drag home and out comes an "approved" recovery firm. I tell them whats happened and whats wrong, the guy who looked about 12 looks at me and says "ok then, lets have a look"
Opens the bonnet has a poke around and then jumps in the drivers seat to start it.... :eh :shake
I managed to rip the lead off the battery just in time.
Never again... RAC all the way for me now.

Well im thinking cause my car is 10yrs old, regardless to what happens to it, their gona write it off anyway! my wates 2000 fiesta was side swiped, wish bone is damaged, and their writing that off!
But i think once it is cheaper i may consider full comp like, but at mo it not practical like.
Mine came with brakedown cover, am covered by "Flux Rescue" seemings im insured with Adrian flux.
But i got a quote with directline for a standard one of my car, cover cost £1300
Thas widout B.down cover tho :shake
SO gettin a decent deal reli like!

thankfully when buyin my car is comes with aa cover, altho i havent had a problem with a thrid party recovery firm before, had to use 2 different firms both were fine part from one took 5hrs to get to me

I kno my g.parents hav probs with AA all the time which is why they recently moved to green flag.
Took them 5 hours to get to them, they were on a main road in town! Not that hard really when they quoted 30 mins like! lmao
i think the AA and RAC focus more on their motorway breakdowns, for obvious reason. I broke down on the M5 with the RAC it took them 7 minutes to get to me.
I broke down same car on the A467 near Abercarn, took them an hour and 10 minutes to get to me.
Oh and both times they fixed me on site, one alternator and one water pump...

you could try the company im with e-car insurance there not too bad price, were the cheapest i could find
swill_omnibus

I tried them, but once i mentioned my age, adrian flux and modifications they said they dont even want to try and compete with adrian flux :lmao:
I did try endsleigh tho, they quoted £3000 :eh
So thats why im not with them! Cheaper car insurance, i think not! :lmao:
