I couldn't get a decent picture of this - I took it about 4 times and it was blurred everytime!

I didn't take nearly as many photos as I wanted to, but I only walked around with the camera for part of the day.

I was all set to pay my cash to go up the strip and what does nob head here do? He leaves his fooking drivers licence at home! Pillock! So I've resolved to go to a RWYB day with my mate who came to PVS with me.

Overall, I enjoyed the day, but I didn't think it was as busy as last year.

A few highlights...

As they were putting the Jet Car away, some bloke asked the Fireforce team how many driveshafts it goes through per season. Eh? His mate told him that it's pushed along by the jet of air coming out of the back. The idiot then asked why it's got wheels. Priceless!

Paying £1 for a dollop of lukewarm baked beans on my jacket potato :eek2:

Seeing Aydena's run up the strip - I didn't know who it was at first :D

I waved at you, but you ignored me... :shame:

I was with a mate and we spent most of the time watching the strip action. I also saw the other side of the strip, which I didn't know about last year!

Undoubtably the best pics I've seen! :cool:

Cheers Matt - my OCD comes in handy, I like to try to frame the shots evenly and level!

On the last run that I saw - where I photgraphed it doing it's rolling burnout (300ft of burnout!), he was carrying a passenger and IIRC, it was his fastest time of the day.

7.08something 1/4 mile @ 180.something mph
