camshaft sensor

does any1 why the camshaft sensor seems 2 go/brake, i have replaced it twice in 12 months, i have a cavy SRI 94, any ideas.

Try Cleaning the connector.


Vx replaced my Wife's one twice.

Last time it srted bringing up Fault codes, I just cleaned the connectors with Contact cleaner, and 6 months later it's still fine.

I did a How To for it.

the code can come up a lot if belt is incorrectly tensioned.
