does anyone have a K&N induction kit suitable for a vectra 1.6 16v thats no longer needed? if so let me know price and postage:Cool2:

If I was you I'd go for a panel filter. It makes more noise than standard but the main thing is it's more useful than a induction kit. All they do is suck hot air in. You might as well have some use with your air filtration system. Go for a panel filter, it's cheaper too ;)

And a clean paper element is restrictive on these cars?

Not quite sure what you mean there Paul. The standard air filters are restrictive, I know you know that. And it still probably is with a k&n/pipercross or similar panel filter. All I know is they are better than standard. You could go drilling the airbox and adding a cold air feed to it. I know you know that too.

its not for me, its for my brother in law, i have a k&n on my cavalier and only cause i had it in the shed and i love the sound:Cool2: which is what hes after.

have to agree with paul on this, a good clean regurlaly changed paper filter is any more restrictive than an aftermarket k&n, pipercross etc
the only benefit you have with an aftermarket one is that it an be cleaned and therefore can last longer!
