View Full Version : Breaking: 1991 Cavalier SRi (20SEH)
AKA 'The Pink Panther'

Most bits are available, I'll start listing them as I break the car, but if you're after anything specific ask me in advance. Interior is 'average' condition overall, driver's seat is a bit shagged but the rest is pretty good, rears are above average. Bodywork from the rear doors forward is good, all straight and is red underneath the pink lol. If anyone wants any doors/panels I'll mop the colour out. :Cool2:

I could do with the plastic trims which clip into the front panel under the headlight wipers. Someone stole mine off the GSi!
Any pics of the steering wheel?
Is the engine, box etc and back axle for sale?

Ahhhh, gotcha. £5 +P&P mate, unless you want to get it at a meet or something?

Can get better/closer shots specifically if needed.
Engine, Box, Rear Axle, it's all available mate. (although the back has had a smack I think rear axle is in tact, and it's just bodywork damage)

how much for both front wings and the boot lid (if good) mate?
Dougie
28-02-2007, 06:58 PM
If you look under the headlight wipers there's two plastic bits of trim which the wipers rest on, they just clip in - I need two of those.
Any idea what nick the rear brakes are in?
What's the mileage/condition of the engine?
Cheers

Matt, I MIGHT be collecting an engine crane from Hinkley soon, so I could pop to yours with it if you need to borrow it. :Cool2:
how much for both front wings and the boot lid (if good) mate?
Both front wings in good nic, the boot is also in shape despite the rear end knock (I think the bumper took the damage), I don't think there is much if any rust on it either.
£30 the lot collected buddy.

Rear brakes are dandy. They aren't brand new but they have plenty of life left in them. That's from memory I'll have a proper look at them tomorrow.
Engine mileage is just shy of 131k. General condition is fine, runs as it should, no mayo plastered all over the cams, pulls and runs aswell as mine does. apparently had a cambelt change at 128k but I'll confirm this as and when I know for sure.
I've got the 2 headlamp washer trim pieces you're after. £3.50 posted to you matey

Good condition mate, will get pics tomorrow. I'll sell the foglights, but only as a pair, or I'll never shift the other one :Cool2:

How much for the windscreen wiper arms posted fella?
Ive got squicky arms :lmao:
They're not the revised arms mate, they are the early ones that you can't pull back from the windscreen because they catch on the bonnet.
If you want them, you can have them ofcourse, but IMO the revised arms are much better

Hal, pictures will be your way later as per the condition of door cards
Various bits been sold over the weekend. Bumper and fogs are gone (Shaz, I'll still get you that loom) As too is the rear spoiler and various interior bits.
The car won't be hanging around long now, after the engine is removed it's pretty much down to a shell. The engine wont be around long either, if it isn't sold it'll be sold off in bits.
