This is the gearbox I picked up a while ago as spares or repair, supposedly had no reverse gear!
So after initial testing by manually selecting every gear, INCLUDING reverse...
I split the box for a closer look, and found absolutely NOTHING to suggest a problem, no broken shafts/synchros etc etc.
Posted afew pics and questions on a couple of forums including this one and it was concluded a worn linkage could have been the cause of the supposed problem...
To be on the safe side I got a mate at a local clutch/gearbox place to have a quick look at it for me, and again nothing to suggest any problems internally or otherwise.
The box is still split so the buyer can have a look for themsleves at the internals/condition.
I can also convert it to 2wd if required, I've got the drills/taps etc from doing the one now fitted in mine, only thing that will be needed is a 2wd conversion kit, which I can also get done if required.
