I will be breaking this car next weekend, it's a N plate ecotec SRi 16V hatch in Jungle Green.

Standard apart from Apex 40mm suspension (shocks and springs), wheels are now sold..

All parts available apart from front end panels (it had an argument with a lamp post this morning and lost big time!!). Advertising on behalf of a friend, please post here, or pm/email me with your requirements and I will pass it on to him and get back to you with prices etc.

Definitely have locking solenoid and resistor, mirror is broken as somebody wiped it off the other week though. I'll have to get back to you about the aerial, as far as I know it's fine though.

Yes, original leather airbag wheel, will have a look for you mate.

Will be whatever is standard on a ecotec SRi, I don't know if they're any different. As far as I know it's fine though.

will you be able to help me out?

need the rear nearside shoe fitting kit (pins and springs)

also need the backing plate that the shoes sit on. This is the thick metal plate that the pins go through and that has the hole at the top for the brake cable part to hook up to.

let me know if you can help on this one as im kinda desperate lol

I'm not 100% sure tbh... 1 will definitely need replacing but I think the others have a bit of life left in them... will let you know for sure if and when they become available.

hows the engine did it get damaged if not mileage/condition etc?

Engine is fine, the rad is touching the exhaust and the gearbox has moved where the n/s chassis rail has been pulled in but that's as far as it goes. It's done about 150k BUT doesn't drive like it, we have a sneaking suspicion that it may have been chipped because it was very quick. It's been very reliable over the last 18 months and 20k+ he's had it, I think it's had 1 cam sensor. The em light is on at the moment but it's been on the diagnostics and can't find anything wrong so were going to be looking for a vacuum leak in the near future.

Matt, any idea on the actual paint code on this please? (i know the VIN might be tricky to see)...i need a fuel cap and I THINK the Cav's are the same as the Calibra's, but it look's too dark, but im sure Jungle is the same as Forest Green, or maybe its Velvet Green?

Don't have the code to hand but it IS Jungle Green (it's a total bastard to take a good photo of as I have found out with my Velvet Green Vectra which is the same colour). Forest Green is much darker.

Both of the fogs survived, one of them has the top mount broken but they were both only held in by the bottom 2 anyway. I'll have to check and get back to you.

It was nice... before my mate has his dogs in the car and never bothered cleaning it for 18 months, now it's positively nasty :sickboy:. Driver's seat has a big hole in the bolster too, tbh I think it's worthless and had no intentions of removing it from the car.

I'm after a pair for my manta A series. Apparently most cavalier/vectra calipers fit so the cavalier gsi should be good. Was gonna send them off to bigg red to get reconditioned and painted in funky stuff cos you never know what you are getting with second hand ones.
As long as they arent physically damaged in the casting or bleed screws bigg red will take em.

As far as I remember they're fine, I only took them off my Cav as I upgraded to Turbo spec front brakes when I did the LET transplant. I will dig them out tomorrow and check then weigh them so I can give you a price incuding P&P is you're interested. I do have the brackets yes.

How would you find out...would you need to open the ecu, and i assume its an X20xev, and if it is chipped is it just a matter of swapping chips or would i be better with the whole ecu(then your talking immobiliser problems i assume)?

I did open up the ECU and it didn't look like anything had been messed with at all tbh, I guess this must have just been a particularly good engine.

Lambda sensor was scrapped with the exhaust as far as I remember.
