View Full Version : **breaking Omega 2.5 V6 Manual**
Right..
Up for grabs is nearly everything from my Omega
The only bit you can't have is the engine, unless you work out how to take it out and mend it.
It is a CD spec with electric sunroof, grey cloth interior (in excellent condition) and all the other stuff.
Let me know what you want...

Colour is Smoke Grey Metallic, and most of the panels are in pretty good shape, rear drivers side door is bubbling a fair bit though.
Damn! wrong colour or I'd have had a front wing off you!
sorry. But if you need anything else, let me know
is the engine similar to mine? If so, how much for the oil cooler?
the engine is X25XE. No idea how different that makes it from the C25XE.
And I would have no idea how to remove the oil cooler

It looks like a mini radiator or FMIC, it may be mounted to or near the rad, and the pipes will go to a sandwich plate between the sump and oil filter.

think you're right Jim. although i'm still not 100% sure i need one TBH, as i'm not losing a lot of water, and it's not mixing. previous owner reckoned it needed changing though.

If the oil cooler goes it will mix oil with water which will show in your header tank
don't think it is. will check again tomorrow though.

how much for the electric sunroof? including the trim panel, motor, and as much loom as you can get out.
Cheers.

OK, it has your name on it, but since the car is currently stored outside i can't remove it yet until the car is nearly gone, otherwise the interior may get a bit damp.
seen them priced at about £40? how does that grab you?
For the motor, loom and switch (as much as I can get out)...
£30 posted.

I need a yellow plugged mfd and cruise control cable. Cable must be about 3-4ft long, not the 2ft version.
Let me know a price if you have these parts available...cheers.

Hi,
Sorry to disappoint, but the CC is one of the things that I couldn't guarantee if it works or not, whether it is because the cable was faulty or the system itself I don't know.
MFD do you mean the display bit? will try and work that one out if so...

Does it have air con pipes? One of mine has split on my 3.0 Elite, not sure if they're the same though.

You will know if the cable is faulty by pulling one end....if the other end moves then its ok.
The mfd is the multi function display....yes the display that warns of low oil...temp mpg etc. It is the single screen version with the yellow plug only on the rear.
Cheers.
