View Full Version : WTD ASAP: F20 or F18c

I need either one of the above as soon as possible

low mileage prefered, and if its an F20 one from an early GSI would actually be preferable to one from a cav SRI (as its 5th is a little different)

Anyone got one within reasonable distance

Look up "TRIX" in Dunfermline, ask for Dougie... tell him I sent you. He has a pile of F20's that make Mt Everest look gay....

dave hey its for me he said he would get back to you when he has some info on one .. you heard anything back hoping to get the job done a week on sunday and as shrink said would love it to be an f20

I got an F20 here currently on my 4x4 cav 80k on the box!
Its getting stripped this weekend!
May be a little far for you tho?

yeah i know bob.. he wont want it.. he'll want a proper 2WD box

and because yours is 4x4 your asking a lot more money than you would need to pay for a decent 2WD F20

Fair play mate - although the gearing is out of a 2WD f20, from when i blew the 4wd one up lol!

All that needs doing to sort it out is to swap the diff out of yours/his knackared F20 with the Diff out of mine...

Thats all i did to get it to work with 4WD!
Oh and the Cheapest 2WD F20 i could find when i needed one was £120.

i just dont see him wanting to spend much more than £50 on a semi decent F20... which is about the going rate id think

yeah dont fancy swapping dif and i suspect this is the cause of the problem in the one i have cheers though my man ..

he was gonna leave you a message mate its cool io spoke to him need to get back to him on monday though still notgot back to me .. not an amazing hurry but it would be w weight of if i could just get one ..then start working on other problems
